When changing the rear sprocket in a banshee (or raptor) you have to remove the back holding washer, the one that makes sure the holding nuts does not go loose. When you install the new sprocket
do you reuse the back washers (sometimes they broke when you remove them) or do you use loctite (or any other anti vibration adhesive) and get rid of the wahsers. If so which formula do you use red, blue, other???

Are you talking about the curved washer that connects 2 lug bolts. (If I remember there are 2 or 3 of them)... I reused mine. Only one of the tabs broke so I figured it was fine.

Yes those are the wahsers I am refering to. In my case 2 out of the 6 tabs broke so I was thinking about throw them away and use loctite (blue formula). Is this a good idea? Or should I reuse even if they are broken?

Later...

I really do not think they are mandatory...they are just there to provide tabs to wrap around the bolts. You can buy washers with tabs in a hardware store. But I think you would be safe with some loctite. I would check them often anyways. A sprocket is not one of those things that you want flying off on you during a ride. (though unlikely with all the bolts holding it on).

I have some spare parts lying around....If I have any of the locking tabs left. I will get in touch with you and you can have them for nothing.

But I really would not stress it too much.
*one thing though...is to make sure that the lugs are threaded all the way down. It will not hold tight if there is a flat spot where the washer is supposed to go. I can't remember. Have not changed my banshee sprockets this summer yet.
