WARRIOR TOP SPEED
#4
That is correct, a stock Wolverine will not go 60. More like 52, a stock Warroir is about 60.
Top speed on my Wolverine is about 60 with 25" tires and about 8000 RPM. (major Mods)

This thing never ends. Why does every jealous idiot claim that a Warrior isn't very fast? I've ridden them on pavement flat out quite a few times and they will scream. Look, they say a prarie 400 will go 56mph, so you are believing that a Warrior only hits 52? Go ride one and find out for yourself. I'm with the guy that put the warrior at 65 and the wolverine at 60. Even if the Wolverine can't do 60, it will be closer to 60 than it will 50mph.
All the posts that come about slow warrior speeds are from those that don't own them, and more importantly - DONT LIKE THEM! Of course they are going to be pessimistic about something that they don't like anyway. Like those people who live only to see others fail. My AC 500 will go 56-58 depending on the gas thats in it. My 89 honda 300 will hang close with the 500 so I'll give it credit for maybe 52 mph. The 96 purple warrior that a friend of mine used to own would run side by side easily with the topped out honda on a paved road in 4rth gear and with 2 more gears left, would leave it behind big time. I don't live in a place with just a few 200 yard stretches of pavement. I'm doing all this on paved county roads in a rural area where you can drive 6-7 miles of pavement with the throttle pegged unless you let off every now and then for a slight curve. Its not a short stretch where you get it going good and then have to slow down real quick.
