Who has best shocks?

I have a '98 Banshee with a bad front (left) shock. I was wanting a shock better than stock since the stock shock only lasted one full season of riding. I like to jump the quad and skim woop sections so I need something that will hold up pretty good and will last longer than (1) season of riding. I hear that the Works shocks are the best, are they worth the money? Will it hurt anything to run the stock rear with new front aftermarket shocks? I only ride for fun, don't race, but like to run on the track occassionally.

Hi there...I have a '96 banshee...the front shocks did not make the cut...I put "works" triple rates up front w/ new a-arms...
It made a big difference for me. The bike is now more stable through the bumps...And less taxing on the body to ride. I am still using the stock rear shock...but this winter that goes too....
I feel that the shocks were a good choice...I don't race professionally, but I hit the track on occasion also. And it performs just fine for me.
I do have both stock front...non blown shocks...If you want to save some money for now.
good luck

I have Axis shocks front and rear I feel they are the best shock made. They don't come cheap but they are worth every cent.

Thanks for all of the helpful info. I looked a little on the shocconnection.com website and Ohilins are very expensive a99Wolverine.
Thanks for the offer on your stock shocks sAylt_fmf but I think I will go with the Works. Thanks again!!
