i just got mine 2 months ago and i like it alot. it has plenty of power rides nice and handles very well for its size and designe intent. i was concerned it would be difucult to work on because of all the plastic panels but it all comes off very easy. evrything is very easy to get to the EBS system it has works VERY good. brakes at first i thaught sucked but after the pads wear in they work killer. i think it is the top of the line 400-450 class machine. the stock tires suck in the sand but its not really a dune runner. best way to put it is i plan to buy anouther in a fiew months

Get IT.

I could type for hours on end, RE the virtues
of the 00Kodiak.

But those two words @ the start of this post
sum up and say all.

I purchased mine in late October just in time to get the deer stands up and cut firewood before the season. The farm has very steep inclines and when we get a lil rain or snow traction is tough. It rained for almost 3 days during the second deer season. The machine handled all of the terrain without a problem.

I had no trouble traversing a freshly tilled field after two soild days of rain. I helped the fellow who owns the farm drag out his deer and his 2wd atv.

My brother owns a '99 Grizzley and I think that it is a bit much to handle. I really like the way the Kodiak handles. The engine breaking feature is the greatest! You can crawl down a steep grade using only the engine to slow you down.

I got a plow as part of the package and it works great on what little snow that we have gotten so far this year.

My next accessorie is a 2000# cap Warn winch. I am going to install it this weekend.

I've had mine eight months now. It's been through everything. I couldn't say a bad word about it. The stock tires that come on it suck, but I'm picking out some Maxxis tires to replace them.
