mojave vs warrior vs blaster vs 300ex

I will have to agree with Y2K300EX on this one. with the kind of trails you will be riding, you need a warrior or 300 ex. the 300ex is lighter but the warrior has the better motor.

Although not quite as fast as the Warrior you should look into the 4x4 Wolverine. I ride a Warrior myself but it is no match for a 4x4 in the mud or rocks. If you do get one of the 4 stroke 2 wheel drive machines the first thing you will need is upgraded tires. None of the sport bikes have decent mud tires on them. The Warrior has alot more available power and a longer wheelbase than the 300EX or Mojave but has a much wider turning radius which could be a problem if the going gets tight. It has been a minor annoyance for me but nothing too serious. The Mojave's big drawback is kick start (sometimes difficult on a 4 stroke) and no battery (weak lights). The 300EX's big drawback is the lack of top speed and short wheelbase that sometimes causes the front end to come up too easily when hillclimbing. Nothing too serious for any of the machines and all their shortcomings can be easily overcome or adapted to. I'd buy whichever one you can get the best deal on and just enjoy riding.

I think we are all forgeting the price aspect. You can get a decent used Blaster for $2000 or a new one for 3000. That would be one vote for blaster.
Also, the Blaster can be a good trail rig. From what I have heard it is very light weight, decent power, nimble with short wheelbase. It has no reverse but it is so light, pulling it out by hand is no big deal. It has limited ground clearance so DEEP mud is a moot point. Nice used quad from $1500-2000, how can you argue with that?
