If you ruin the threads on the lower a arm ball joint do you have to replace the whole thing?

Or can you just replace the ball joint???

don't think you can replace just the balljoint.

By the looks of all the mods you have already, you might as well go and buy a set of extended a-arms and shocks.

you could try re-threading it though with a tap set, if it goes big enough

I just looked in my service manual and you can replace the ball joint. It looks like you have to remove the rubber cover and there is a clip and then it has to be pressed out.
