What is the top speed of a stock and modified Banshee?

 

a stock banshee will go between 72-73 mph. A piped banshee will go between 75-78 mph. dont let anyone kid you and say there banshee goes 100 mph.

 

hmm...i dont know about that. according to several magazine specs, the stock banshee runs about 71-72 mph...which agrees with your figures. however, my 98 with toomey t5's will pull 85-86 mph(a friend followed me in his car). all it has is k&n filter, 280 main jets, pro design pro flow adapter, and dynajet needles...no porting or milling on the head.

ive thought about having the head milled for more compression, and a port job when i rebuild the top end. 100 mph probably wouldnt be that hard to reach if the porting was designed to increase top end pull...just my opinion.

Also remember that most car speedos are + or - 5mph.

 

mine has a few mods with a 15 tooth sprocket a friend is a cop and and he radared me at 92mph and it was scary and i shut it down
