rear brake cable

I have a blaster and i was wanting to take of the parking brake and keep the stock rear brake is thier a cable that goes from the back brake to the foot brake and not up to the hand brake?

You can just cut the cable in front of the brake pedal

If i cut it then the cable would pull through becose thier isn't any thing for it to hold to.
