I have a yamaha blaster and I was wondering what size tires I should get for the rear? I'm thinking about 20-11-8 becouse I only ride on trails in the woods and some mud. I think the 18-9.5-8 look better but I also think it makes it set to close to the ground for trails with alot of rocks. If I get the 18-9.5-8 I would change the front sprocket to make up for the lost speed. Whitch one?

I have several blasters with stock tires, but this year I started running with 18" turf tamers. I like the tire ok but even with a 14 tooth sprocket (1 tooth increase) in the front I loose 1-2 gears. If I were going to replace them I would get 20". I think the lowered back end is not too bad, you just have to avoid more rocks than you're used to. But I don't recommend 18".

Check out the guys at blaster central, they have published several tyre tests and comparisons for Blasters, http://www.geocities.com/Baja/Canyon/2536/
