I HAVE A 97' WOLVERINE RUNS GREAT NEVER HAD A PROBLEM.
I WAS GOING UP A VERY LONG AND STEEP ROCKY HILL, AT THE TOP THE BIKE STARTED TO CUT OUT...DON'T KNOW WHY, ANY SUGGESTIONS, I'M JUST GLAD IT HAPPENED AT THE TOP..

 

Is your oil level to the top? if not there is a sensor that helps protect the engine if it is below half and since you say you were going up hill it most likely be even more sensitive.
