I was cruisin' along the other day and hit some fairly harsh bumps and damn near rolled over my own leg with my rear wheel. I might add, I know of a person who did the same thing but broke his leg in three places. I decided to get me some nerfs to help prevent this from happening. I chose the Graydons and the installation went quite smooth but when I mounted the flat section to my footpeg it left me little to no room to get under the shifter. I adjusted the shifter as high as it can go but it is still tight. Is there any aftermarket shifters that have different dimensions to combat this problem...Lets hear it.

Go down to the local Yamaha shop and get the shift linkage from a Yamaha Warrior. Replace the Raptor's shift linkage with the Warrior's linkage. It's alot longer than the Raptor's. I had to do this get my riding boots under the shifter.

I am confused
I have the Graydon nerfs and I mounted them leaving enough peg teeth for grip and the nets hang down giving my toe pleanty of room under my shifter. Perfect.
