I don't know who makes the best fender flares for the Wolverine. Mine were homemade. They are made out of the sides of a Pendaliner bedliner that we were going to put diamond plate aluminum sides over the top of, so had no use for the plastic. We cut them off of the top of the side of the bedliner and bolted them on to the top side of the fenders, after holes were drilled to hold the bolts. Then we cut the bottom at an angle to match the angle the fenders were cut at. They look good and the only thing that cost anything was the chrome-colored bolts. This helped out 100% with the mud.

THE best mudflap available for the Wolverine are the ones offered by you dealer in the Yamaha accessory catalog. It costs more than some aftermarket flares but are worth every penny. They look like they came on the quad from the factory{they don't because it takes away the "sporty" look}. It is made of hard plastic that doesn't sag like the rubber ones offered by many companys. We've had no problems with the flaps that I can recall. They are a little tricky to get on correctly, so unless your dealer is one of those with skyrocket labor rates, I would ask for a quote including installation. Mention the installation quote at THE SAME time you ask about the flare price. Sometimes most dealers will give you a cut. Also LOOK at the book yourself.Yamaha's suggested list price is posted there with the flap. Some dealers put a markup above retail on accessories like they do hard parts. While almost every dealer does it on hard parts, very few do it on accessories because they can't explain why they are charging more than what the book calls for in plain view. If he tells you that there has been a price update increase, FIND ANOTHER DEALER. If he gives you a higher price than the book said and then lowers it when he knows that you've seen the sugg. price FIND ANOTHER DEALER because all he will do is hike up the labor to install it to make up the difference. Don't you love the inside scoop of a parts dept.? Hope this helps. KNOWSALOT
