Hello Everyone,

I have to ask all of your opinions on a purchase that I may make. I know of someone who is selling a 2000 Yamaha Blaster that was ridden approx 10 times in total. The machine has a full FMF exhaust on it. The person is willing to take $2000.00 for this machine. Can you tell me (and be honest with me), is this a good deal? I have yet to see the machine, but from what this person is telling me about it, it's just like brand new.

Please give me your opinions on this..

That is a good price if in the condition you think. I would check compression should be around 125-127, look at the plug and see how it is running tan to dark brown is what you want, and most important check the air filter and see if it has been properly cared for. For good engine life a clean filter is a must. Those things should give you some indication of how the quad was taken care of.
