I put a down payment on my Raptor today. It should be in late next week. I was wandering if there were any promotions for riding gear or something like that from Yamaha or does that just come from the dealer?

 

They just had a $300 parts and accessories promotion start 2 weeks ago. That's how I got them to throw in full skid plates and shock covers for "free" along with the $30 a month promo.

 

Is there any place that shows this from Yamaha? I need it to show my dealer.

The $300 in P&A promo was something that I wasn't even supposed to know about. They did not have any advertisements anywhere. I just happened to notice the fax from Yamaha sitting on my salesman's desk as we finalized the deal. It was dated Oct. 18th, the day I finalized the deal and picked up my Raptor. I asked my salesman about it and he said he just got it in and that was how he was able to get me the price I wanted with the free extras. The $30 a month for 6 months deal is everywhere. Pick up a Dirtwheels mag, its right on the back cover. Its financing through Yamaha Credit. Like ltracerx said, check Yamaha's website for better details.

 

I would like to get more details on the $300 Parts and Accessories promotion because I just bought a Kodiak last Wednesday. I got the $69 winch deal they were offering, but was not told about this promo. I couldnt find anything on the website either.

 

You need to request the special promotion, at least I did when I bought my 02 Banshee last week. It was on accident too, I just requested if the dealer could throw in some extras and they said go ahead and pick out $300 worth of anything in the store.

 

A little more info. In the latest (December) issue of Dirtwheels on the 4th or 5th page is the ad for the $300 P and A promo. At the bottom in fine print says at "participating dealers". Your dealer doesn't have to give to you. But, you don't have to buy the quad from that dealer either. The $30 a month financing deal is on the back page of the November issue.

I was at my dealer last weekend and they had a $300.00 promo tag hanging off the handle bar of a Raptor. Also saw it in ATV action mag. December issue.
