22 inch Bandits for Blaster

This past December I was looking to buy tires ASAP since one of my stock Dunlop's had an unrepairable tear (sharp rock), and since no had the 22" Bandits in stock I decided to call Pure Sports directly to see when they might be available. The guy I spoke to there had the new AT's in stock and agreed to have them drop-shipped from the factory, but had me contact someone at Rocky Mountain ATV for the actual purchase--I had my 22x10x8 Bandit AT's in about 5 days. I'm sure they have the XC's by now, so you might try the same route. BTW, the 22" Bandits look huge underneath my Warrior.

I don't remember the exact price that Rocky Mountain ATV charged me for the 22" AT's, but it was around $55.00 per tire, plus another $10 or so for shipping--from Tennessee I think. At any rate, you'll have to start with someone at Pure Sports, and if they agree to drop-ship will give you the name of another guy at Rocky Mountain ATV to actually order them. Like I said, you order from them--they just have the tires shipped from Pure Sports rather than another distributor.
BTW, let me know if you need the "as installed" dimensions to see if they'll fit on your Blaster.

PLEASE DO NOT GET THE 22S THEY ARE TO BIG
THERE WILL BE TO MUCH SIDE WALL FLEX WHEN TURNING, AND U WILL HAVE TO TAKE OFF NOT JUST THE PLASTIC MUD GUARDS BUT THE FLOOR BOARD PART TO. THESE TIRES ARE WAY TO BIG. 20S ARE THE SIZE TO GO WITH
TRUST ME ON THIS. U WILL LIKE THE SMALLER ONES BETTER AND WILL NOT NOTICE THE GROUND CLEARANCE LOWERED BY 1/2 INCH

2000_Warrior_350: Thanks a lot for your help. I called Rocky Mtn. 1st, and they have the tires now. No need to go through Pure Sports, but thanks anyway. My 22x10x10 ATs are $131, with shipping to MS. They should be here in 5 buisness days. I guess it doesn't matter, the Blaster is down for swingarm bearings (and swingarm cracks ).
I'm sure the tire will fit the Blaster. I already have +1 offset Douglas wheels, and my old 22s fit so not to worry. Thanks for the offer though.

"DO NOT GET THE 22S THEY ARE TO BIG
THERE WILL BE TO MUCH SIDE WALL FLEX WHEN TURNING" They are too big for what? MX? I currently run 22x11x10s and there is no sidewall flex. Less than many 20" tires. Many 22" tires do flex, but not good 22s with stiff sidewalls. Running the large 10" wheels helps eliminate the possibility of flex, also. My old Sur-Traks didn't flex noticable, and I'm sure my new Bandits won't either (at least they better not!).
"AND U WILL HAVE TO TAKE OFF NOT JUST THE PLASTIC MUD GUARDS BUT THE FLOOR BOARD PART TO" No. I know two people and myself who have run 22" tires and the mud guards on a Blaster. One runs the stock wheels, and tow of us run the +1" (compared to stock) offset Douglas wheels. Some 22s won't fit when used with stock wheels, however.
"THESE TIRES ARE WAY TO BIG. 20S ARE THE SIZE TO GO WITH" Says who? If you ride on an MX track mabey. Notice, most XC pros run 22" tires. There is a reason why.
"U WILL LIKE THE SMALLER ONES BETTER AND WILL NOT NOTICE THE GROUND CLEARANCE LOWERED BY 1/2 INCH" Not true. I ride on trails with mud/ruts/roots/rocks. You NEED ground clearance there. And, a 20" tire has 1" less ground clearance than a 22. I go places many 20" tires quads get hung up on. Here in Mississippi, ground clearance is very important.
BTW: Would you mind turning off the caps lock?

WHY DOES CAPS LOCK BOTHER SO MANY PEOPLE. ANYWAYS NO ONE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT AFTERMARKET WHEELS, I HAVE MAXXIS RAZRS ON MINE WITH STOCK WHEELS AND THEY RUB ON THE METAL FLOOR BOARDS,ALSO I HAD TO CUT THE PLASTIC MUD GAURD TO MAKE THEM WORK. ALSO MOST MX RACERS USE 18INCH NOT 20 FOR A BLASTER. 22 INCH MAY HELP U OUT A BIT BUT NOT MUCH. WHY CANT U PEOPLE JUST KEEP UR MOUTH SHUT. I WAS JUST TRYING TO HELP. ARE U THE ONE THAT STARTED THIS TOPIC. IT DOESNT LOOK LIKE UR SN.
