ATV / Mountain Bike Speedometers
#11
This question is directed mainly to therock. I installed the Bell speedometer recently on my 00 Timberwolf. I have 23x8-10 size tires on the front. My question is what would my wheel factor be? I mounted the sensor and magnet on my CV thingy. Sorry, I dont know the exact name of it. I got 1833 for my wheel factor and put it in the Bell computer. I'm just not sure if this is the proper wheel factor. Calculate it and tell me what you get. Thanx.

RedSand,
I will do it but I am getting ready to go on vacation tomarrow. It will be over a week before I have the time. I would start with the number you have and drive beside a vehicle with stock tires & cruise control @ 30 Mph and see if you match up. Then experement by moving the numbers up or down by 20 at first to see which way she is going. Take a note pad & pen and record what you are doing to save hassle. Finding the time and a willing person to drive beside you is the hardest part.
