RAPTOR VS BANSHEE
#11
Alot of you guys are missing the post, he want to know "power to Power" can he win, not on turn, over logs and through wooods. The answer is no. If the banshee is running good he will waste you bad. You could have your good start, in any gear you want even have him let you take off first and he will still catch you. Banshees are made for one thing, to good fast, unless the race is really short the banshee will win.

If the banshee is what you say it is and the rider is experienced, Plan on getting spanked in a drag race that goes any distance past first or second gear. From what I have seen 2nd gear starts for the Raptor are best if you have a 12 tooth front gear or a 42/43 rear sprocket depending on the drag surface.

When I drag raced this past weekend on the clay drag strip I was getting excellent traction. I never tried starting in second, but it would have been a good idea. Having the 12/42 setup, I could have probably gained quite a bit off the line. Good tip, as long as we don't burn out the clutch.
