i installed a wiseco 10.25 piston in my 95 wolverine. i love it. it gave me more low end, wich the quad needs. i have also installed an e-series pipe, rejetted the carb, raised the needle and put in a k&n air filter. it runs great, although the fst kits look like they are worth checking out.

does anyone know how much it will cost if you send your motor to fst to have one of there kits installed on a wolverine. im thinking around 2000 bucks, for the kit, machine work and assembly. just a guess.

Putting a header on a Wolverine don't really help unless you are doing major motor modifications. The stock opening is plenty big, actaully bigger than is needed so unless you putting a major big bore kit on it will hurt you more than helping you.

I would think a torque stuffer would help some to close off the opening some at the block. Check out the thread on ATVNation.com and go into the tech. thread. They Pam Falconi gives info on what a torque stuffer does and says that the Wolverine has a bigger opening than it needs. The thread is Torque Stuffer. Their are 2 total so you will have to look for them. They are about a month old or so and are easy to find.
