I know this topic has been in the forum before with no clear answer. Do any of the billet shifters made for the Raptor get rid of the stock shift linkage. Does anyone have an actual shifter that gets rid of the linkage.

My warrior has the same style of shifter with the awkward linkage. I dissassembled the whole thing, leaving the shifter, the linkage piece, and the part that attaches to the shift shaft.

First, I tossed the linkage piece, then figured out roughly how the shifter needed to be bent. I cut large round end off of the shifter, and then welded the shifter to the part that goes on the shaft.

Poof!!!! Regular style shifter which works great.

I'll see if i can get a pic of it.
