I am in the process of purchasing a new exhaust. From reading your posts, I decided on the GYT-R slip on. I am also gooing to install a jet kit, but my question is, what type of air filter should I install? I was thinking of purchasing a full system, but after reading your posts, I decided I would be just as happy with a slip on. I find it interesting how you back up your claims with actual research and facts, while others rely on "their friends." I appriciate it.

Go to Ebay and get the Jet kit. Then simply get the White Bros foam filter.

Thanks for the pos comments.

Thanks for the pos comments.

WTF?? Raptor720, you have been a great help to this forum, and contributed alot of good tech. info, but what's up with that? The guy is thanking you for your help, and you say "thanks for the peice of **** comments"?? Maybe I am seeing it wrong, but you've got a really pissy attitude.

I would say thanks for all your help, but you would probably curse me.

Yeah I think he meant positive comments. No reason to think otherwise.

OK ---- pos is POSITIVE comments!!

There would be no reason to flame him. We have had many, many conversations on the threads and via email.

Well, I guess I owe you an apology. Down here, most guys use the abbreviation "pos" as an association with Honda. Oh wait. I've got one of those.. sheesh.. Oh well, it's broken anyhow. Sorry Raptor720, my mistake.

Raptor720,
A couple of weeks ago you recommended the Kasea for my son, were picking it up next Friday...thanks again.
Have a small problem with my Grizz 660 if you don't mind my asking. I was recently told of a neat little pick-me-up for the 660, drill 4 (2-1/2&quot holes in the air box lid, add a free flowing air filter (I used a UNI), bump the main jet to a 165.0 vs the 153.8 that's stock in the Grizz...and that's it! Others have tried this without any problems, at least none I'm aware of. This affects the bottom end more which is fine with me, problem is it's none running to smooth...needs more choke now then before and I just came back from another trial with 2 and 4 holes exposed...no change. In fact I noticed that I can run the quad about the same with full choke or no choke from 0 to let's say 40mph, that's where I decided to stop at...no special reason. It's night here and about 49 degrees, I let it warm up for about a minute then took off. Tomorrow I'll check the plug for color. Any ideas???
These changes were made at a dealer, the quad was in for it's first service...valves, oil change ect... He said the valves were fine and the stock plug prior to the changes was good!

One more thing, when I came to stop and tried to move forward slowly, the bike reacted slugish, falling on it's face...gave it a little more and it started to move. Sure sounds alot louder now.

Tony
