All those that have NOT blown a Raptor tranny, what oil are you using?

If I had my druthers and had easy access (<---key words)to the 15w-50 Maxima, I would run it exclusively. Another catch with the Maxima oil is it runs about $10 a quart. I could ride reasonably hard for a period, step off, and hold my hand on the cylinder head with this stuff. Probably a tad of overkill though (is that really possible???)...actually, they advertise that it's overkill.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not a Raptor owner), but I thought that the transmission failures were due to some sort of manufacturing problem/mistake in the early production runs involving reverse and second gear? Why would running a different oil have any bearing on that? Shouldn't it be solely because of the use and harsh engagement of reverse and/or second?
I believe there was a large discussion here when the Raptors were first released regarding the serial numbers... I forget what the number was that the second production run started on (which was the run that fixed the tranny problem), but I'm pretty sure that there was a definite point; many people before it had experienced problems, but no one afterwards had encountered any such difficulties.
