Warrior future

I could see Yamaha stopping production of the Warrior ONLY if they were going to replace it with something more powerful (not a LOT more powerful, but a little bit), and with an updated frame & suspension. I dunno what RAPTORYFM was talking about with the 400/426 Warrior, but I think you're probably more likely to see the Warrior stay in it's current class, as the Raptor is basically in the same class as the 400EX. I think the Warrior will try to stay as direct competition with the 300EX... but that's just my guess, which is about as good as anyone else's...
I wouldn't think that it would do much to the resale value of used Warriors... they might go up a bit, but I doubt much...

While I haven't heard anything officially from Yamaha regarding it's demise, the Yamaha sales rep. said that word between sales reps. were that it will be dropped from the lineup in '03 and that they were being pushed pretty hard [by corporate Yamaha] for dealers to order more than an average ammount of Warriors for '02. [I guess I have a rep. who is more into looking out for the dealer rather than screwing him over!!]
I've heard the rumors, about a new sport quad, [even from guys within Yamaha] but that's all they've been so far, is rumors.
