Has anybody out there purchased Maier Plastic for their Raptor? How does it look and fit? Is it close to the same quality as stock?

I've heard that there plastic is not very shiney, and the ones I have seen don't look that good.

On another note, the latest issue of DirtWheels had a blurb stating that Maier is coming out with red plastic for the Raptor (And other models) and that this plastic is shiney, unlike the usual Maier stuff. There was a picture in the magazine, and it looked pretty good. I'll try to scan it tonight and post a pic.

i saw a red one on a Raptor a couple of months ago and it did not look good at all. The plastic was not smooth and shiney. Maybe it just wasn't a good color of red. The grill also did not look good. Just my 2 cents worth. Beauty is in the eye......etc.

I just saw a picture in the mag, not in person. Was it a Maier kit you saw? Supposedly the one in the magazine just came out, they may be two different kits we're talking about. Either way I'd want to see it in person before I bought one.

 

Yes, it was a Maier. Don't know how long he had owned it. I would want to see the new one up close before I shelled out and $$$.
