If you like to ride fast and jump, the Wolf cant be beat, by a Rancher that is. If you will be hauling trailers and running large tires, get the Rancher. I use my Wolverine to pull a 16 foot utility trailer and it does fine, but when it comes to utility the Rancher has the edge.

If I knew how to post pics I would!

Like Airwolf stated above, the Wolverine will leave the Rancher when it comes to spirited trail performance. The Rancher has a decent amount of low end power but falls short when revved higher. The Rancher would be a better choice for low speed work and farm use. The Wolverine will pull a trailor fine but the Rancher has a higher towning compacity which means basically means it has more low end. As far as reliabilty goes they both have proven to be great machines. I know the Wolverine has a stone reliable engine and I havent heard any problems on the Rancher either.
