I heard that by shaving the front fenders of a raptor that gains of up to 4mph could be achieved. Is there any truth to this? If so is the mph gain correct?

The front fenders are so small on the Raptor, I am suprised that there is any wind resistance.

I think the "Steel Mill/Blow Torch" idea may help you with this problem.

You may as well shave them. They offer no element protection.
