Congrats! you just sent the price of used blaster a-arms and shocks through the roof!. This has got to be one of the best project quads I have ever seen, kudos to you!

Fourlix, take some of those pics and send em off to dirtwheels or atvsport. Imagine if that were featured in the mag, maybe then Yamaha would notice and build it themselves. I wish my kids LT80 were that nice. The whopping 2" suspension travel is miserable on the minis.

Fourlix~

Impressive! Congratulations, and I'm sure your little one will be a very happy camper. Again, good job, and what an awesome lil quad!

So you just went mad with a welder? The shocks are form a blaaster right? Did you have to move the upper braket? With the rear suspention, did you just crop out the linkage stuff and make your own bracket? What is the rear shock?

I would suggest getting some big gun exhaust for an XR50 or get a white brothers e-serice universal fit. You could figure out how to mount it.

Great job!

The Raptor 80 has these cheesey little fake eyes instead of headlights. I may put them back on for now...
.......I took the 660 Raptor headlight off to try it on the Raptorette, there's one pic. I was wondering if anyone would notice. Full size Raptor headlights will fit, an electric start quad motor with battery should be up to handling some lights.
The works shocks are too stiff in front and need a crossover spacer in the back. One of many things I like about Works shocks is the ability to "work" with them yourself, fine tune them to your needs. Fine tuning the suspension will come after X-mas. For now it is done, except for the nerf webbing on order.
.....PIX
With Big Brothers Raptor 660.
Black and White Raptors really are faster....
