I'm going to change my antifreeze and flush the system this winter. What brand do you guys use and why? Any tips on doing this maintenance appreciated...

JHAM,
I have for the last three years in my cars, trucks and now the Raptor and KDX 200 use Texaco Dex/cool (50% distilled water/ 50% dex/cool) because of the length of time between change intervals. Dex/cool has no silicates. I sure don't go as long as they say you can on the container but it is supposed to give longer pump life too. Go to google and do a search and read the benefits of using this coolet in your vehicles.

Thanks for the info., I like not having to put 50% water since it's already measured for you.

JHAM,
Dex/cool is not a premix. I take the one gallon of Dex/cool and one gallon of Distilled not tap water and dump them into a bucket and mix them up good to get the correct 50/50 mix.
