Tell me if I should sell my Warrior for a Banshee. Which quad is better in the woods? Iv only had my warrior in the woods a few times and I can say that I was impressed with its handling, but sometimes if there was a big log or something I would have to use a lot of clutch work. My riding conditions in the summer are basic daily riding, forests, down the dirt road, to a free ride place with jumps to fool around, hanging with 400ex's and Raptors, not much to never any mud in the summer, no sand, only hard packed dirt and corn stalks. Usually people just say that if you live by sand dunes or are going to be racing get the Banshee, but I'm never going to race, maybe a hare scramble down the road and back against a 400ex or something, but not any profesional racing, but it stil would be nice to have too much extra power, I probobly, nono, definetly wont be going TOO fast, on my sx125 i usually go 50-60mph not really top speed, the road I live on is 2 miles long, never any traffic, what I look for in a quad:lots of power, suspention, handling, just the main things, what kind of part company it comes from I couldnt care less. Can the Banshee wheelie(of course it can! *hits himself*) but do you think the warrior has the ability to keep up with 400ex's and waste utilities? It's snowing right now, havnt had much time on the warrior it started to snow 2 days after I got it and havnt been going to hard on it. Does the Warrior really have a lot of power and accelleration? What are the top speeds of each machine? How fast can the Warrior and Banshee get up to top speed? Yeah, reverse would be cool because I do some forest riding, electric start would be a bonus too, but I wouldn't mind starting a 350 2 stroke twin, it can't be that bad. Are there any differences between all the years the Warrior and Banshee have been made? Do you think I could handle a banshee I'v had a ktm 125 and a bunch of scrapped utilities? my ktm 125 was power, expensive, but well worth it. People keep saying the banshee's bottom end sucked, how could that be? Yeah stock it may be bad for a pro right? I'm only 15 would I be able to handle a Banshee? Not too much jumping, because when I start jumping BIG I'm going to start seriously modding. In the fall it's basically the same as the summer time, forest riding, going down the road, medium sized jumps ( I can do no footers, no handers nac nac and a can can on my ktm 125 off 40 ftrz)

so.... do you think I should sell my warrior for a banshee? I just got the warrior, its snowing, not much room for ridnig in the winter, but they should go onsale in the spring. Oh, and, another thing, about motor repairs, do I have to get new piston and rings every year for the banshee? How long should I go with a Warrior? Whats better for hillclimbs?

Thanks for reading this, I read it over, it's boring but atleast I wont run into anything I will regret!
(and for all the smart asses ... I'v had a lot of utilities my dad buys crashed and broken quads, fixes them for little money, then we ride them for a month, then sell them.... making money .... but my ktm 125 was for me, and the trx300 was for farm work, the c-dale was bought in the states from somebody who crashed it, I rode it for a few weeks then we had to sell it)

Well first off the warrior is heavy i know b/c i owen 1 my self ad i hae ridden a banshe a warrior a 250r and a big bear a 250r three wheeler a blater and a 400ex ans 300 an out of them all i whould say i like the banshee the best it has power band it is lighter than the warrior and it is a lot easer than the warror 2 handle in he air but it is 2 stroke and u can not go through mudd and water like u can with a warrior i like the warrior tho it is a lot of fun 4 me b/c of the electrec start reverse. I have been rideing with myfriend and his banshee and we come apon a dead end and all i have 2 do is throw itin reverse where he has to get off and pick it up and turn it around and it is kinda funny 2 watch but if u want 2 strke go with banshee or 4 stroke i like the warrior and im not saying the raptor is bad it is just i haen't rode 1 yet

well i can tell you i have both, i just bought a banshee and ill tell you straight up its fast fast fast , even stock, it does tend to wear me out a little bit becauls im always on it(the throttle) i just cant help it!! the machines are different like night and day, my warrior is great trail riding and it gets me around the dunes(at a snails pace compared to shees) but it does the job,, a warrior sucks at water crossings, i had a honda recon 250 that was much more fun on the trails, alot lighter and no clutch work, althou it did lack powerthe new sporttrax 250 with a few mods should be great with a few mods, it also weighs alot less than a warrior, all around machine has to be the 660 raptor, ive seen em on the dunes and in the woods and over to grandmas house they will go, plus reverse, id say a banshee is great fun 2 stroke pure adrenaline rush, but its not as easy to ride as ather models, so ill keep several, thank you very much

I would get the Banshee, I have a Warrior like it in all but the Banshee is so much better. And for the shee you can get better performance
parts and so on. Well ride one and go from there. I am only 15 and I rode my friends built 250r that can hang with a stock shee. And when I rode my friends banshee it had so much better power than my warrior. Hoped this helped a bit

I'm not trying to get you off the Banshee/Warrior topic, but have you ever thought about a 400EX? For the riding you do, the 400EX hails the crown as king.

As for the Banshee, mine has been a great machine. I bought it used, and now have replaced every bearing in it. The bearings were the only downfall because the guy I bought it from didnt take care of it. The thing screams too! Some friends of mine weren't expecting the midrange hit(explosion is more like it), and it tore out from under them.

I used to own a Banshee, they are great, probaly the pepiest bike out there, i've ridden a warrior the banshee blows it away. Get a banshee just for the shrill fun, it has way more power and is a good lenghth so it does great on hills, if you can do a 2-stroke go for it.

Keep the Warrior. It is better all around. The Warrior is much better for trail riding. The Banshee is good for wide open riding and sand dunes, not for climbing hills and riding on tight trails.
