I was wanting to know what compression ratio piston i shoud go with in my blaster the stock is 6 to 1 I was thinking about steping up to 11 are 12 to 1 I was wanting to know what i would have to do to make it handle twice the compression, how much power it would add,is it worth the money, and would i have to get any thing else to go with it?

If you want to increase your compression, take the head in and have it milled. You will gain alot on a 2 stroke just by milling it. If you want even more oomph, have it ported and polished also.

As you increase compression, you must run higher and higher octane gas to combat detonation. This will eventually mean you will need race gas. I do not believe that 11:1 - 12:1 can be achieved on a Blaster engine. I'm sure one of the engine tech experts on this board will post something.
