I hear there is one new machine, EMPHASIZE sport 4x4. That is in the design phase.
The purpose of the machine is to revamp the current wolverine.
Dealers should get a glimpse of the machine in Prototype/concept form in Next years OCTOBER dealer convention.
** which I get to attend for 1st time as a spectator rather than designer **
If it even hits the convention as a prototype, ( they meet there deadline )
THEN they decide to push production we as consumers won't see it until MAYBE the following season.
Yes the 426 quad was a prototype/concept unit in a show over 3 yrs ago. Never made production.
As far as I know, Never will. Just like car manufacturers have all kinds of concept creations that are in the shows. MANY will never see production.
Oh do I wish all the concepts would be released.
My Info is from the Regional Rep on planning for next years seminars, again he's a pretty solid source. But, Some would say The magazines are too.. HAAA!!!
All the big manufacturers are Very tight lipped on any stats.
No Engine info, No tranny Info. Not a thing, I Tried! he just smiled, No Info
I only heard of a CLass or type of machine, Do to the setting of the props.
They leak info to magazines intentionaly to hype up a future sale or releases.
For example, Suzuki with there new 400.
RUMORS, anticipation, Spy shots, then Organized release. Then magazine testing.
But Machine will not be released for another 6-8 months. HYPE!!
I also KNOW there is going to be a new Sport machine from honda, they have a new seat in the lineup. In about 3-4 months you'll see the So called spy shots of the new creation in Magazines. Again this is no accident from the manufacturer. Organized Hype for new sales. It's all the game of numbers and money in there pocket.

I don't think they could build one that big and stay within the 606 pound weight limit that all the Japanese manufacts. agreed to abide by, that's why Polaris, Arctic Cat, and Bombardier, have an advantage on building monster motor's, they don't have to go by the weight issue. I think were about as big as we can go motor wise with the Jap. company's
