Need help with leaking Banshee Carb.
#1
I just picked up a 2001 Banshee and the left carb discharges fuel from the overflow hose any time I leave the fuel on.
I have diassamebled the carb and ruled out any possibility that the float pin is dirty or broken. I am convinced it must be the float adjustment.
I cannot seem to understand how to lower the floats so they close off the fuel earlier, therefore preventing the bowel from overflowing. Could someone please explain it in very simple terms?
It looks like all I need to do it take hold of the small metal bar that holds the two floats together and bend it down, away from the top of the carb. Wouldn't this make the floats cut the fuel off sooner, thereby eliminating any overflow?
Please help!
