If you get one, make sure you get the "new" one with the updated software. The updated software doubles the sample rate for quicker screen updates. Those of us that already have one have to kick them an extra $20 for the upgrade.

I have the Trail Tech Spedo on my 2002 Raptor. It works great. I takes a little time to install and set up, but it's worth the time. I compaired the readings to my GPS and it was right on the money. Becarful of one thing though. There is a "bike 1" and "Bike 2" option that you have to program in with the circumference of you front tire. Bike 1 is for my stock Dunlops and Bike 2 will be set up for my Dune Trackers. If some how it gets switched without you knowing it, you could get an inaccurate reading. Especially if it happens sometime durring piping and jetting your machine!! You could THINK you just went from a top end of 72mph to 87mph and then you will go talkin' smak to all your Buddies only to find out you wasn't even close to 87!!!!!!!!!!! Not that I know that from personal experiance or anything.
Just hypothetically speaking...........it could happen.

I would recommend it though.

Na, they are easy to program. I just handn't programmed "bike 2" yet. I had verified my speed with a GPS prior to my mods and it was dead on. Unfortunatly that confidence caused me some trouble.

It's a nice piece.

I used 1587.5 with stock tires and 4.5 lbs of tire pressure. According to my GPS it's right on the money
