ATV TV ?

It's on the Outdoor Channel (not to be confused with the Outdoor Life Network...they are not the same).
For a while it was on Saturdays at 3:00, but since the new year it is on Wednesday's at 9:00pm EST. I beleive that it is also on Monday mornings at 9:00 or 9:30am.
That reminds me that I missed it last night...oh well...I'm sure that I didn't miss much. That show gets on my nerves every time I watch it because I stop and think of how easily they can make it 100 times better. It wouldn't even cost them any more money. Oh well, that's another subject.

I have seen the ATV/TV on the Outdoor channel myself. I seen it once and I thought it was a good show. They were featuring the 2002 Kawasaki Prairie 650 V-Twin, in which I'm going to buy at the end of the year. I may even wait until the 2003 models come out.

Yep, it's on at 9:00 EST on Wednesday. If you watched it last night you would have seen the host read out of ATV magazine the reviews on mud tires while they showed clips of the same 2 quads in a mud pit over and over and over and over an... well you get the idea.
This show is PATHETIC!!! First, it's almost entirely devoted to utility quads; hardly ever a sport quad shown. Second, they always manage to only get about 2 minutes of useful info into a 30 minute show. Third, many of the shows are barely about ATVs; like the show where it was entirely about watching deer or goats or something. The only ATV part was that they rode ATVs to get there.
The show needs more sport atvs, more trip reports (use to have them all the time but now never), some racing clips and some info that is actually usefull; it's all fluff right now.
I'm glad there is at least this one ATV show but the fact is that I hardly watch it anymore because it is so lame.

Pay attention when watching tv. This show is a 1/2 hour commercial for Kawasaki. That's it and nothing more.

I know, it's too bad. I was really phyched about getting the Outdoor channel (only reason I let me girlfriend by the upgrade package for our satelitte). I watched the first episode of ATV TV and it was just the introduction of the Polaris models. All the host did was suck up to the Polaris rep the whole time....he just talked and talked and talked. Man, give me a break let's see some action. Anyway, I said to myself...Well, this is part 1 or a 2 part show so must be they're just getting all of the talking out of the way and they'll show the action next week....WRONG!!! It was much of the same.
It just bugs me that these guys have the opertunity to really make a good show and they are blowing it big time. Sure, I like to know all of the little details on the quads and stuff, but when the host sits there and rambles on and on about one little feature, enough already. I think that if they set the show up something like Car & Driver television with a narator reading of the specs and giving the details while you watch the cars tear around the track I think it would be great. Even if they didn't get into GNCC races or things like that it would still be a solid show.
Oh well, I have went on an on about this in a previous post and I didn't mean to do it again so I'll stop now. It just kind of gets to me every time I think about it cause I'm the type of guy who will watch anything to do with ATV's. For example I will watch ATV commercials regardless of the manufacturer just to see quads in action. So that tells me that if I don't like this show then there is deffinatly something wrong (in fact, I like the commercials from the show better...they have more action).

I agree with the rambling part! It would be sweet if they toured all over the globe and went to some riding spots in each state of the U.S. and maybe traveled overseas. I would love to see some of those crazy modded quads in the dunes. I would rather not see a whole lot of racing but more average joes out there having fun on their prized possesions!
