I'm getting ready to tear into the Raptor for a 686/Cam/Port. I've rebuilt many two strokes and V8's, but never actually rebuilt a 4 stroker. Anything special I need to look out for on the Raptor? Does anyone have the Service manual online with pages that pertain to the rebuild? And finally how about removing the decompression switch? Thanks.

Thanks, I just picked a service manual tonight. I am going with a midrange cam $160-225 depending on who you go with. A good set of valve springs $140-220. A JE 10.75:1 102mm(686cc not 690cc)piston $150-240(buy direct from JE and save at least $90!). And finally a good port job will cost you $300-500. With all the other bolt on's, pipe, filter, airbox, jet kit, etc. From what I have heard and read I should be in the 58-65hp range.
