Got my '89 Banshee for $500 bones. I just had to put a clutch in it, but everything else seems fine. It does seem to smoke a little heavy but I get conflicting opinions about what is too much. I sure am impressed with the power. Makes my Scrambler seem very slow. Go with used, your getting hosed buying new. Look on eBay, people will sell you their quad for half what they have in it...

 

Jeez, the dealer by my house sells the 2002 Banshee for $4,900. Brand spankin' new

 

I bought my 98 for $3250. It only had a boost bottle and pro-flow filter. It had probably 85% left of its tread on stock tires. I was lucky enough to find someone that was needing money fast.
