how much did you pay for your Banshee

I really don't see the advantage of buying a new banshee, warrior,or blaster. You can get an older model with all the mods you want for atleast 1500 less than a new stock machine. Why spend 400 for pipes and 50 for a filter and $$$ for wheels and tires. These bikes are virtually unchanged since 1987. Buy a used Banshee for 3500 and if you want something different down the road you'll get your money back out of it.

i don`t want to buy a used quad you never know what is going on in the crankcases they could need new gears, cranks, berings, pistons, rings, and who knows what, else the person who is selling it might not have known what they were doing when they put that Brand new clutch in they could be selling it after they welded cracks in the frame. any way i could go on and on basically my point is you never know what has been done to it

Blastermaster,
Buying used isn't necessarily a bad thing. I recently bought a 96 banshee for around $4,500.00.
That may seem high, but were talking only a 96 not a 1987 Banshee. Not to mention the reason for this justified purchase was that it had about 7,000.00 poored into it in mods. Everything, from pipes, +2 a arms, extended axle Lonestar, 18CC Domes set for 110 octane, two into one carb, high $ Ohlin shocks, dyno port stage 4 intake, and stage 3 porting for MX. I agree with the above fellows that said buying used is wiser. If you know anything about the type of ATV your buying then you should know if its been ridden to hard or not. ITs not to difficult to spot problems. Besides, spending all of that cash for a new banshee and then all the aftermarket parts is just rediculous. -GoodLuck!
