electronics for raptor?????

I have not heard of any elcctronics such as an ignition or rev box. The only "ignition" upgrade I've heard of is the 6 degree advance key from Curtis Sparks. I've heard both good & bad things about it so I have not decided on weather or not to use it myself. some say it does nothing & someone here said he gained 2 quad lengths in 100 yrds. I'll be intersted in what everyone else has to say.

At one time I believe FMF had an AOF ignition for the Raptor. It allowed you to choose between a torque curve and a HP curve, or a low end boost and a high end boost. There was a switch you mounted on the left bar to choose. I don't believe they offer it anymore and if I recall it was $400. Do a search in Google for "FMF AOF Ignition" and it will bring up some pages, but any links to FMF's pages are dead.

Electronics. There is a European CDI box from Yamaha that is fairly hard to find. It has a great spark curve. Not sure about the FMF stuff as I have not seen one yet.
You have the option of using a 49 State or California CDI box from Yamaha. I like the California box for a built engine and the 49 State box for stock or near stockers.
I a few months, there will be a complete fuel injection system that also controls spark. I am hoping to have the beta test unit in less than one month. This system may hit the market for $2000 retail. Not a bad price when you consider that Kehin FCR's will cost you nearly $1000 without a CDI.
You can add a HotWire from NOLOGY. It seems to improve power. I tested the wires on a Harley and decided it was the way to go the the Raptor. Don't use their coils though.
