Raptor Slip On or Full Exaust ?

I am thinking about getting the Yoshi pipe for my Raptor. I cannot decide between the Ti Full pipe or just a regular slip on. I run a Pro Flow kit (Foam filter) as well as Dyno jet jetting. My question is for the extra 600 CDN will there be a great difference in the two. I do not plan on modding the engine from stock any time soon. I would rather spend the money on suspension. I have heard if you go with a larger head pipe with a stock engine you can actually loose some torque. Anyone ?

SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY FOR SUSPENSION. JUST GO WITH THE SLIP-ON. I HAVE TRIED A FEW OUT (MODDED STOCK CAN, WHITE BROTHER'S E-SERIES, GYT-R CARBON SLIP-ON AND A FULL BIG GUN EXHAUST)AND I CAN TELL YOU THAT THE E-SERIES AND THE GYT-R CANS FELT THE BEST. THE FULL SYSTEM ROBS TOO MUCH BOTTOM END BECAUSE OF THE LARGER HEADER PIPE AND/OR LOCATION OF WHERE THE 2 HEAD PIPES MEET. I FELT THAT THE DISC SYSTEM (E-SERIES) OFFERED A LITTLE MORE BOTTOM END BUT GAVE UP A LITTLE TOP. WHILE THE STRAIGHT THROUGH SYSTEMS OFFER MORE TOP. I WOULD JUST GO WITH THE SLIP-ON. YOSH IS A EXCELLENT COMPANY AND PUT OUT GREAT EXHAUST SYSTEMS, BUT UNLESS YOU PLAN ON ENGINE MODS I WOULD JUST STICK WITH A SLIP-ON. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

If you plan on going with a slip-0n call C&D Racing (308) 368-7805 one of my buddies got their HMF engeneering slip-ons for a raptor he loves it. check out this link of dyno runs on a Big gun full system versies a HMF slip-on. Dyno Runs If you still want a Yosh system C&D can help you their as well very good prices.

Here's my two cents. I'm only running a slip-on with no airbox lid and proper jetting. Racing up Olds hill I've lost to every full piped Raptor that I've raced. Kinda tells me that a full system is worth the money.

If you dont plan on modifying the engine, or racing. the slip on should be fine, any gains to be had from a full system are minor at best. on the other hand if you want to squeeze every last drop out of your motor, get the full system

I ran the white brothers R-series with stock headpipe for awhile. Then I bought the stainless header to go with the slip on. I had to go up two sizes of jets on the dynojet kit, and raise the needle one notch. The horsepower gain is very noticeable. This is the single most jetting difference that I have noticed with any mod I have done. Bring on the port work!!!!!!!!
Also I tried a company called MX Tech, for some shock revalving. The local people here in Phoenix is called palo verde suspension ( they have a website). I have a +4 lonestar swingarm with the factory shock. They revalved it and put on a eibach spring. The shock is awesome, it rides like a limo on the small stuff and really stays in control on the whoops and jumps. <<<<<<<< all for around 300.00 >>>>>>US.

I bought the Yoshi full Comp system with no air box lid & 155/160 mains, dyno jet needles/springs, 25 pilots. The bike rips & completely leaves my buddy behind with his Gytr slip on. The gains were noticeable all around & if I lost a few ponies way down around 1000-2000 rpms who cares. The shoot out shows the Yoshi pipe provides solid gains all around so I'm not sure where this low end loss is & if it really matters?

You forgot to tell them your ridin buddy with the gytr has 80 pounds on you chimmer. I know, I am that riding buddy.
