My Raptor is leaking oil right behind the front sprocket. Does anyone know what might fix this? Everything looks OK, I hope it's just a little O ring or something simple but I haven't pin pointed anything yet.

Thanks,
Mitch

Check the breather and oil level before you go into the seal.

I had the same problem. Mine was the seal Raptor720 mentions. I also opted to replace the metal bushing that it seals against since it had a groove worn into it.

I ordered my parts from Riva Yamaha but for the life of me, I couldn't find the right page under the parts finder for you. If you can't find them, post back and I will find the invoice and provide the part numbers.

What will that do? (checking the breather and oil level)

Is the seal easy to get to or do I have to take the motor apart? Is it the little O ring that the metal cup sits on (the one behind the sprocket itself)?

Thanks

Yep, take the sprocket off and then the next piece you mention. It is right there. It is a really easy process.

Cool, thanks a lot!

.....just to make sure. It's the little O ring on the shaft, right?

Thanks,
Mitch
