MY factory tires are 20x10-9.I know the 20 is highth ,but is the 10 or 9 the rim hingth. can I go to a 22x12-9 as long as I keep the 9 or do i have to keep the 10.
HOW does the pure sport realter a/t do on trails and sand? can it be used for both?

How to read tire sizes. The first 2 numbers are tire height and width and the third number is rim diameter. Stock tires are 20" tall x 10" wide on a 9" diameter rim. A 22x12-9 tire will fit on your stock rim. If you put 22" tires on, you should drop your front sprocket size one tooth (from a 13 to a 12).

When you increase the tire height, you are changing the final gearing. In this case, a 2" increase in tire height is a 10% increase, by dropping the front sprocket from a 13 tooth to a 12 tooth, you decrease the final gearing by about 8% so that the final gearing remains close to stock. As for your Blaster, I am not sure what your stock tire size is so I can't say if a 20" tire will change your gearing.

ya go with the 9 in rim. by the size of the tire you picked im assuming you ride woods so i would recommend the holeshot xct's.
