Please please read this post

and then fill out a complaint form with the CPSC

If you could also spread the word.. I think we have a real chance at getting these transmissions fixed if people start complaining...

thanks

People do not seem to be reading this post.. well this all leads to getting the raptors fixed.

Take a look at this: " Consumers should contact their local Suzuki dealer to schedule an appointment for their ATV to be inspected and repaired. Suzuki will replace all Eiger ATVs for a new one if the unit is brought in by January 31, 2002." Click here to read more

The link will send you to a site that has info about the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. They have the power to make yamaha fix the bad transmissions.

Please, if you've had problems with your raptor transmission PLEASE take a closer look at this web site

Thank you for your time

This is our best shot of having the 2001 raptor tranny recalled < come on guys if you had a problem with your tranny go fill out the form. I haven't had any problems with mine yet , but I know it's just a matter of time, thought tends to cross my mind when I'm in 5th WFO!! Hope she don't blow!!

I would think that the dealers would be discretely pushing this to get more warranty work, assuming Yamaha pays decent for warranty work. I know Ford doesn't.

I have a couple mechanic friends, and they NEVER want to do warranty work.

It only pays 1/2 to 2/3 as much as customer payed labor.

That's big corporate america for ya...
