Does the Jet Kit, Pipe, and Muffler void the factory warranty. I notice on Yamaha's web page they have these items as accesories that you could order on the Raptor.

Do I have to have a Dealer install these things to maintain the warranty assuming they (the parts) will not void my warranty.

Your Yamaha warranty works as follows:

If your dealer says YES and Yamaha says YES, you get your problem fixed.
If your dealer says YES and Yamaha says NO, you don't get your problem fixed.
If your dealer says NO then Yamaha says NO, you don't get your problem fixed.
If your dealer says NO and Yamaha says YES, whoops, I am not sure this can happen.

Bottom line is to see if you dealer is going to honor it with the mods or not. Some do, others don't.

For me, the extended warranty turned out to be a joke. Once Yamaha realized they paid to replace my rear shock, they were not even interested in paying for the rear axle problem on the 2001 Raptor (the design of the axle nuts meant I always had a loose sprocket and brake rotor). At first, the dealer was with me and then did a 180 after talking to Yamaha. In the end, the ownership at the dealership agreed to go 50-50 with me. NO THANKS GO OUT TO YAMAHA SINCE THEY DIDN'T PAY A NICKEL. The dealership/salesperson recognized that I bought three quads from them in the last year.
