A guy that I know has A Yamaha Banshee (1998) with fmf fatties,filter, ported and polished, and a 2-into-1 carb. I have a 1988 banshee with (as far a engine goes) bored .040 over, wiseco piston, hotrod crank, 19 fin hydrocooler, ComStar top-end gasket kit, Trinity pipes,and a boost bottle. Who will win? I weigh about 30 or 40 ponds less than him... Thanks

who ported your buddy's motor?

 

His dad ported it, I dont know if he knows what he is doing or not.I was thinking about getting mine ported before long too if I have the money... I'm not really "friends" with him, he runs around bragging all the time bout how fast his quad is. Right now, mine needs a new ignition (maybe dyno or trinity?) Thanks

 

If you get rid of the boost bottle, you might beat him. Seriously...I have seen boost bottles rob 2 hp on the dyno. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]
