I was told Atv prices in Canada were cheaper than in the states. Can anyone give me some examples of what they paid for their atv in Canada? I live in Maine so its a short drive.

Model and price please... thanks

Grizzjeeper~

Paid $5200.00 US for an 2002 Special Edition Kodiak from Canada. It was 6300-6400 US here in the states.

holy horse ****!!! If Grizz kid is correct and he paid 10,000 for his Grizz with all the accessories he got a great deal!
Two weeks ago I heard the exchange rate was 49% and if I'm doing my math correctly that would have only been 5100.00 american dollars.
Correct me if i'm wrong but I may be buying there soon!

exchange rate is 38% so he paid around 6200 for it... still a damn good deal.

Canadian MSRP for a Raptor converted to US dollars is around $5800 and the Banshee is $4750. So you can see, if you can buy in Canada, you can save some real money. The question I have for those that have done it is how do the taxes (sales and GST) work and what do you do about paperwork coming back across the border?

Just keep one thing in mind. Don't expect any favors from the US Dealer that you just shafted by making your purchase accross the border when it comes time for service work. They may just take 3 weeks to do a 2 hr. job because they're "busy" with other customers. Just some food for thought.

I have purchased several quads in canada(although I am on the opposite coast)...some are better priced, some are not. Also be aware your canadian warranty will probobly not work in the U.S.
Good Luck !!
