warrior ply rating

is the 6 ply rating on maxxis razr tires worth the little extra cash becuase i just got the 4 ply rating about a hour and a half ago? i cant think of any thing that ood pop the tire on just a woods trail.

you would be suprised on what can ruin an atv tire, i ran over a 1 inch stump that was like 3 inches out of the ground and it destoyed by titan 489 that was on my bayou. If you hit a tire in the right spot it can put a whole in it doesnt matter what ply it is (sometimes) .I would have went a head and spent the money for the 6-plys tho, its cheaper in the long run. Whatever you do slime the tires before you ride to much and ruin a 50 dollar tire

The 6 ply tires would help in that there would be less side wall flex and greater puncture resistance however this comes at a price of greater unsprung weight but this wouldn't be noticed as much on a larger machine such as a warrior.
