I'm adjusting the valves on my Raptor today and I would appreciate some feedback from people that have already performed this procedure. I noticed in the factory manual that Yamaha specifies a torque of 10 ft. lbs. for the lock nuts on the rocker arms. Do you think this is enough? Back in the day when I adjusted the valves on my Warrior, I followed the torque specs on the lock nuts of the intake and exhaust valves but the lock nut came off the intake rocker arm while I was riding. I had to take off the head and shake the nut out. I don't want this to happen to the Raptor so I would love any suggestions from you guys. Thanks.

Did my valves a few weeeks ago & I agree the torque specs don't seem tight enough so I went a little tighter.
