After 2 years, the shock mount ripped loose from the rest of the lower a-arm. I thought I could finally stop having my girlfriend tell me what a piece of junk the craptor is. I found someone who could weld it back together with reinforcement for $15. Being a little leery of this, I decided to see what a new one cost. Found a brand new complete lower a-arm assembly from a dealer for $42 which includes all the bushings. Yea, now she is laughing at me again because a new a-arm for the Raptor is $190.

It would be interesting to see how the price of putting an entire Raptor together from a parts list would compare to the list price of the Raptor versus doing the same with a 400ex. I am betting the Raptor has a much, much larger markup on individual parts. Anyone ever figure out the cost of putting each model together bolt by bolt?
