How do you replace this? It's leaking around the shaft for the front sprocket. I pulled the sprocket, and I can see the oil seal. How do you get it out, and how do you put a new one in. Does it take any special tools? Hopefully it doesn't have to be torn down to do this. I got a lot of mud jammed up in there on my last ride, and it must of damaged the oil seal.

Help,
Dan

I'm not sure right off hand about the Raptor, but my friends XR250 had the same thing happen, and the seal had to be replaced from the inside out. And if that's the case, looks like you'll be splitting the cases.

Good Luck

If I remember correctly, there are one or two small bolts after you remove the sprocket. You take them out and then wiggle the seal and another bushing loose. I had to replace both the seal and the bushing since it had a groove worn in it.

You don't need any special tools.
