A friend of mine traded for a 1987 Yamaha Warrior 350 that needs a cdi unit. The local dealer wants $ 336.00 "ouch". Can anyone help us on this ??? New, preferrably used. Once we get it firing, then we can check for any other problems that may exsist. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Thanks for the tip on Steve's Cycle Salvage, I'll call today ...
I know you have probably already tried it but I found riding places at ATV Connection forum where it says Yamaha and scroll to riding places then go to advanced search and type in GA or Georgia...
Once again, thanks for your help. I'll let you know if Steve's has one.

Thanks for the tip with eastcoast atv, sorry though, my friend is e-mail illiterate...I told him I would do what I could to search and locate a cdi unit. But hey, I'm working on getting him surfing the net.

Yeah, he's one of those long winded telephone talkers...But he's one, that would give you the shirt off his back. Call him and he's there to do what he can to help physically, mentally or spiritually...Hey, you know the type, they're getting few and far between.
Anyhow, I did get the phone number for him, gonna check with them monday...Thanks
