Has anyone who is used to riding a 2-stroke bought a raptor or 400ex? How did you like it? I was thinking of selling my quads for a Raptor or that new Suzuki....

i used to have an LT250R. it was faster than my 400EX and i sure do miss the 2 stroke peppyness, but the 4 stroke low end power almost makes up for it.

I have an 86 250R with a lot of mods, lightning fast great handler but was always having to work on it. In the past year I've had to split the case twice once for a broken piston that took out my ported cylinder & holed the case, It's apart now because I broke all the dogs off 3rd/4th gears. The Raptor is just as fast, has gobs more torque, Is easier to ride fast in the tight stuff, is more comfortable & shouldn't have to work it on much. I almost got a 02 shee but I like electric starting, reverse & 4 stroke reliability. 2 strokes are easier to work on than 4 strokes & there are hundredes of places that have all kind of performance parts. but I decided that the Raptor was the best quad for me.
